Trade Shows

The best strategy is to attend the trade shows in the product categories that you are targeting. Make sure you understand who is exhibiting and who is attending each show. It’s best to attend a show before exhibiting, or you can get information from colleagues and industry advisors. And definitely read the trade magazines for the industry before the event, as they often provide exhibitor lists and lots of news and names that will be valuable. Remember, there is a trade show for every retail market, so if you don’t see the link you’re looking for here, search the internet for additional shows.

FTC Disclosure: When we find artists who have deep, proven experience in a topic that will help you make a better living making art, we put them front and center. When these fine folks offer services and products that are first class, sometimes we agree to help each other get the word out to you with an "affiliate" arrangement, which means that we will earn a small commission for referring you to their resources. Those are marked with an asterisk.
